We were honored and excited to be one of the sponsors for the first annual Bruce A. Hollabaugh Memorial 5k Race/Walk - a heartfelt event supporting a legacy that continues to inspire our entire community.

Hosted at the breathtaking Hollabaugh family farm, participants followed a scenic route through blooming orchards, enjoying a peaceful yet powerful journey to walk or run in honor of Bruce A. Hollabaugh. The event was more than just a race, it was a tribute to a life of dedication, kindness, and community spirit.

Bruce, a third-generation member of the Hollabaugh family farm, passed away in 2022 at the age of 41. Known for his role as a production manager, loving husband and father, and loyal friend, Bruce left and undeniable mark on the Upper Adams community. To continue his legacy, the Bruce A. Hollabaugh Memorial Endowment Fund was established, managed by the Adams County Community Foundation. This supports the causes Bruce cared deeply about, creating a lasting impact for generations to come.

For us at Mt. Ridge Farms Inc, being part of this event went beyond sponsorship. Our office manager, Terra Slaybaugh, laced up her running shoes and participated in the race. She ran the race alongside her children, embodying the spirit of family and community that Bruce stood for. Her involvement was a heartfelt reminder of why events like this matter.

All funds raised from the 5k directly benefit local charities and community projects, furthering Bruce's mission of making the world a better place, one good deed at a time!
